The Builder Group
The Builder Group, initially called The Architects, were responsible for assembling the floors/ceilings and walls of the building. We received initial floor plans from Jessus Destiny (Jesus De Dios) from which we built the final structure. After a rough build of the structure,we realized that the initial dimensions were overpowering for the size of our land,so we scaled the structure down to 40W x 20D x 25H (Meters). The original structure was essentially a plain box with the spec'd dimensions with a single doorway on the first floor and a second floor opening with a landing platform. After several adjustments made by the texture and building group,
we left one end of the first floor open, and created a floating meeting room(20W x 20D x 10H) at 550 meters in altitude. The final layout matches the original floor plans, with the exception of the dimensions. What was to be the meeting room on the first floor has
been converted to a performance stage, while the meeting room as relocated to the floating platform.Once the building was done, our primary job has been to maintain the structure and assist groups working in and on the building. Leftern moved to a support role for the Texture Group, XtremeSalsaDancer began to assist the furniture group, and Barry is co-planning the end-of-quarter class gathering.

The best experience in SL
The best part of the Second Life learning process is learning how to create useful items in Second Life. Second Life (SL) gives the user unlimited use possibilities. The only real limitation for SL is the users imagination.
The worst experience in SL
Second Life is a program with a steep learning curve. The steep learning curve is due to the fact that there are so many opportunities to explore. It can be difficult making the choice of where to start the exploration. The technical parts of the program can also be mastered with some persistence and by using available instructional classes.
What have you learned in SL
Real life as we live it daily is mirrored in Second Life. There are people, businesses and teaching that happen daily.
